50 Pack Site Safety Signs
Need to equip a busy construction site with safety signage in multiple locations? Our 50 Pack Site Safety Signs gives contractors and site managers a large selection of individual 400 x 300 mm signs for use around construction and building projects.
Rather than concentrating safety information in one location, this 50-sign multipack gives you the flexibility to position individual signs at entrances, boundaries, work areas and other relevant points around the site.
It's particularly useful for larger construction projects, contractors managing multiple work areas and businesses that want commonly used replacement signs readily available.
50 Individual Site Safety Signs
This multipack contains 50 individual signs, each measuring 400 x 300 mm.
The selection provides multiple safety messages for use around a construction site, helping you communicate relevant warnings, instructions and site information where they're needed.
With 50 individual signs available, the pack can also provide useful replacement stock when signs become damaged, dirty or are required in new locations as the project develops.
Best For
This 50-pack is particularly suited to:
-
Medium and large construction sites
-
Main contractors
-
Sites with multiple entrances or work areas
-
Longer construction projects
-
Contractors operating across several projects
-
Replacing or refreshing existing site signage
-
Keeping frequently used safety signs in stock
For a smaller project requiring only a core selection of signs, one of our smaller Construction Sign Packs may be more suitable.
One Pack, Multiple Locations
Construction sites change constantly.
Vehicle routes move, new work areas open, site boundaries change and different contractors arrive as the project progresses.
A large pack of individual signs gives you greater flexibility to place safety information where it is relevant rather than relying solely on one multi-message board at the entrance.
Depending on the particular sign and your site's arrangements, locations could include:
Site entrances – access restrictions, visitor information and general site requirements.
Perimeter fencing – warnings and access-control messages.
Work areas – PPE instructions and hazard warnings.
Pedestrian routes – information relevant to workers and visitors.
Site facilities – identification and safety information.
Emergency locations – appropriate fire, first-aid or emergency signage.
400 x 300 mm Site Signs
Every sign in this pack measures 400 x 300 mm (approximately 16 x 12 inches).
This practical size provides good visibility while remaining easy to position around construction sites, fencing, hoardings and other suitable mounting locations.
Consider the intended viewing distance, surroundings and mounting position when deciding where each sign should be displayed.
Choose the Material for Your Site
Choose from four material options depending on how and where you plan to use your signs.
3 mm Correx
A lightweight and cost-effective fluted polypropylene material particularly well suited to temporary construction signage.
Correx is a practical option where signs may need to be moved as the project develops.
3 mm Foamex
A lightweight but more rigid foamed PVC board, providing a substantial option for temporary construction site signage.
1 mm Plastic
A lightweight rigid plastic option suitable for indoor and outdoor safety signage.
3 mm Recycled Plastic
A rigid recycled plastic option for customers looking for an alternative material for their construction signage.
Selected materials can also be ordered with holes in all four corners for easier installation.
Why Choose a 50-Sign Pack?
Smaller construction sign packs are ideal for initial site set-up, but larger projects often need the same safety messages in several different locations.
A 50-sign pack can help when you need:
-
Signs at several site entrances
-
Messages repeated around a large perimeter
-
Safety information across multiple work areas
-
Replacement signs during a long project
-
Signage for several smaller projects
-
Spare construction signs kept in stock
For contractors regularly purchasing site signage, buying a larger multipack can also reduce the need to repeatedly order individual signs as projects develop.
Construction Sites Don't Stay the Same
One advantage of keeping a larger selection of signs available is the ability to respond as the site changes.
During a project:
-
New hazards can arise
-
Access points can change
-
Work areas can move
-
Contractors can change
-
Traffic routes can be altered
-
Temporary facilities can be relocated
Review your signage regularly and reposition, replace or remove signs when the information no longer reflects the site.
Does This 50-Pack Include Every Sign My Site Needs?
Not necessarily.
No generic multipack can anticipate every hazard or safety arrangement on every construction project.
The appropriate signage depends on the work being carried out, site layout, hazards, PPE requirements, access arrangements, vehicle movements and emergency arrangements.
Additional specialist signage may therefore be required for hazards or activities such as:
-
Asbestos
-
Confined spaces
-
Deep excavations
-
Electrical hazards
-
Overhead cables
-
Underground services
-
Demolition
-
Specialist PPE
-
Traffic management
Use this 50-pack as a broad selection of site signage and supplement it with additional signs according to the requirements of your individual project.
Site Safety Signs Support Your Wider Safety Arrangements
Safety signs provide important warnings and instructions, but signage is only one part of construction site safety.
Signs don't replace appropriate measures such as site security, barriers, edge protection, PPE provision, traffic management, training, supervision or safe systems of work.
Select and position your signs according to the risks and arrangements on your particular site.

UK Health & Safety Regulations
The Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA) 1974 is a foundational law in the UK for workplace health and safety. It outlines the general duties of various parties to ensure a safe work environment. Here's a quick summary: Duty of Employers: Employers must provide a safe workplace, ensure the health, safety and welfare of their employees and anyone else on the premises (visitors, contractors etc.). This includes providing adequate training, information, and supervision. Employee Duties: Employees have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others around them. This includes following safety procedures and using equipment properly. Other Duties: The Act also places duties on those responsible for premises, manufacturers of equipment used at work, and the self-employed. Safety signage is one way employers can fulfill their duty to inform and instruct employees. Signs can warn of hazards, provide instructions for safe use of equipment, and delineate emergency exits. While HSWA outlines general principles, specific regulations and Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs) provide more detailed guidance on workplace health and safety practices. For up-to-date information, you can refer to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) website https://www.gov.uk/health-and-safety-executive.

Sign Materials Guide
Choosing the right material for your safety signs is crucial for ensuring their effectiveness and durability. We proudly manufacture all our signs in Britain. Let us guide you in selecting the most suitable material for your signs.
Self-adhesive stickers
Self-adhesive stickers are ideal for indoor usage. We use superior-quality Metamark digital vinyl, which is a durable and flexible material with an adhesive backing. Prior to applying the sticker, ensure that the surface is flat, smooth, and clean. While the vinyl is waterproof, we do not recommend outdoor usage unless the surface is deemed appropriate. It is important to note that vinyl stickers do not stick to wood, rendered, wood chip, brick or stone walls, concrete, or similar surfaces. In such cases, we suggest considering alternative materials such as recycled plastic or composite aluminium. Please be aware that Self-adhesive stickers, such as Dulux Easycare Matt Emulsion paint, will not adhere to newly formulated washable, "wipe clean" painted surfaces. If you have any uncertainties or inquiries, feel free to ask us. Additionally, we advise against attempting to independently apply Self-adhesive stickers larger than A4 size, as it may be more challenging than anticipated.
Recyclable Plastic
Introducing Polyline Bubble Board, the latest innovation in the sign industry, made from 100% recyclable polypropylene. Manufactured in the EU by Pyramid, this eco-friendly material offers an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, with a smooth, flute-free surface—unlike Correx.
The Bubble Board features a fire-retardant (FR) black core, making it an ideal choice for projects that require enhanced safety measures. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it is UV-treated for excellent weather resistance, and its scratch-resistant surface outperforms traditional Foamex. Fully recyclable through the No.5 waste stream, Bubble Board is a sustainable and reliable option for UK safety signage.
Rigid Plastic
Rigid Plastic Signs are commonly used for safety signs due to their durability and lightweight design. Our Plastic 1mm option is lightweight and durable, providing waterproof qualities. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Fixing holes can be drilled in the plastic at no additional cost.
We take pride in being the inaugural online sign manufacturer in the UK to present our complete product line of health and safety signs and general signage in 50% recycled plastic. Our new 3mm waterproof recycled plastic, which is bright white in colour, is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is more eco-friendly compared to traditional rigid plastic. It possesses the same surface qualities as rigid and foamed plastic but incorporates a lighter recycled foam PVC centre. Furthermore, this material is 100% recyclable and offers an exceptional printing surface for various signage applications. You have the option to drill fixing holes or use foam adhesive pads on the back for mounting the signs.
Aluminium Composite
Our Metal Signs, constructed from Aluminium Composite (Dibond Signs), are specifically crafted for outdoor usage. The aluminium composite consists of a non-aluminium core bonded between two thin sheets, resulting in a sturdy and weather-resistant sign. We utilize 3mm thick composite aluminium, sourced from ALUPANEL in Britain. This material is produced from at least 80% recycled materials and is completely recyclable. It can be easily drilled to install holes, and we provide pre-drilled holes upon request at no extra cost. Dibond signs are well-known for their durability and long lifespan, making them a fantastic option for outdoor signage.
Foamex
Foamed Plastic Signs, or Foamex, are a popular choice for temporary construction site safety boards. This material is durable yet lightweight, weatherproof, and specifically designed for outdoor signage. Our foamex is 3mm thick and has a white matte finish.
Correx
Fluted Polypropylene, also known as Correx, is designed for temporary signage, especially in the construction industry. It offers a cost-effective and lightweight solution for short-term signage needs.
Banners
Here are the details about our banner options:
Standard and Premium Banner Materials
We offer a standard 440gsm PVC Banner, which is lightweight, weather-resistant, flame-resistant, and has a gloss finish. It is suitable for indoor and short-term outdoor use.
- Our Premium 510gsm Extra-Strong PVC Banner is designed for higher tear resistance and durability. It is weather-resistant, suitable for indoor and long-term outdoor use, and meets UK and European fire safety standards. It has a satin finish.
Mesh Banner Material
- The 260gsm MESH Banner is perfect for windy areas, as its perforated design allows wind and some light to pass through, preventing ripping.
All our banners are printed with high-quality, eco-friendly UV inks. They are hemmed and eyelet for easy fixing, and cable ties are provided at no extra charge.

Frequently Asked Questions About Construction Site Signs
What are the required safety signs for a UK construction site?
Under Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM 2015), building sites must prominently display a mix of mandatory signs (e.g., "PPE Must Be Worn"), prohibition signs ("No Unauthorised Access"), hazard warnings ("Danger Construction Site"), and clear fire exit route markers. Our multi-message site safety boards combine all these necessary warnings onto a single layout.
Which sign material is best for temporary scaffolding and building sites?
For temporary construction environments, Fluted Polypropylene (Correx) and Foamed Plastic (Foamex) are highly recommended. Correx is incredibly lightweight, waterproof, and easily attached to scaffolding grids or fencing using cable ties. For longer-term development projects or hoarding displays, we suggest upgrading to rigid plastic or durable aluminium composite (dibond) panels.
Do you offer bulk trade pricing for large construction projects?
Yes, we specialise in supplying trade accounts and major contractors across the UK. The Safety Sheep Store offers bulk trade discounts of up to 35% on multi-packs and volume orders. All our building site signs are proudly manufactured in our Yorkshire facility, allowing us to pass direct factory savings straight to your project budget.
