25 Sign Construction Safety Pack A
Twenty-five large-format construction safety signs for equipping a busy building site.
Construction Safety Pack A gives builders, contractors and site managers a substantial selection of 25 individual site safety signs, with every sign measuring a highly visible 400 x 300 mm.
Designed for projects where safety messages need to be distributed across multiple locations, this larger pack provides plenty of signage for site entrances, boundaries, work areas and other key positions around a construction project.
Rather than relying on a handful of signs at the main gate, the 25-sign format makes it easier to position important safety information closer to the places where workers, contractors and visitors actually need to see it.
Why Choose Construction Safety Pack A?
Pack A is a particularly useful choice for medium and larger construction projects where signs may be needed across several areas of the site.
With 25 individual signs, the pack gives you greater flexibility to distribute safety messages around a project rather than concentrating all your signage in one location.
Pack A at a glance:
-
25 individual construction safety signs
-
Large 400 x 300 mm size
-
Suitable for distributing around multiple site locations
-
Choice of four sign materials
-
Optional fixing holes in all four corners
-
Suitable for new site set-up or replacing existing signage
-
Made in Britain
25 Large 400 x 300 mm Site Safety Signs
One of the key advantages of Pack A is its sign size.
Every sign measures 400 x 300 mm (approximately 16 x 12 inches), providing a clear format for construction environments where signage may need to compete with fencing, equipment, materials, vehicles and other visual distractions.
This makes the pack particularly useful where safety messages need to be clearly presented at entrances, boundaries and operational areas around the site.
Best For
We recommend considering Pack A for:
-
Medium and larger construction sites
-
New building projects
-
Main contractors
-
Refurbishment projects
-
Sites with several work areas
-
Projects with multiple access points
-
Contractors replacing existing site signage
-
Companies keeping commonly used construction signs available for future projects
For a smaller project requiring only a handful of signs, one of our smaller Construction Sign Packs may be more appropriate.

Spread Your Safety Messages Around the Site
A construction project can contain several distinct areas, each with different risks and instructions.
Having 25 individual signs gives you the flexibility to position signage where particular messages are relevant.
Depending on the signs included and your site arrangements, this might include:
Site entrances
Communicate access restrictions, visitor instructions and general site requirements before people enter.
Site boundaries and fencing
Display appropriate warnings and access-control messages at relevant perimeter locations.
Operational areas
Position PPE and hazard signs close to the areas where the requirements apply.
Vehicle and pedestrian areas
Use appropriate signs where site traffic or pedestrian arrangements need to be communicated.
Emergency facilities
Clearly identify relevant fire, first-aid and emergency information where applicable.
The aim isn't to display as many signs as possible. It's to position the right safety message where it can be seen and understood.
Choose the Right Material for Your Site
Pack A is available in a choice of materials, allowing you to select an option that suits the intended installation and length of use.
3mm Correx
A lightweight and economical fluted polypropylene option that's particularly useful for temporary construction signage and short-term projects.
3mm Foamex
A lightweight but more rigid foamed PVC board, well suited to construction signage where a more substantial sign is preferred.
1mm Plastic
A lightweight rigid plastic option suitable for general safety signage and indoor or outdoor applications.
3mm Recycled Plastic
A rigid recycled plastic option for customers looking for a more sustainable sign material while retaining a durable, practical format.
Optional Fixing Holes
Choose your signs without fixing holes or select holes in all four corners.
Pre-drilled corner holes can make installation easier where the signs will be mechanically fixed to an appropriate surface.
Always choose a fixing method suitable for the sign material, mounting surface and environment.
Is a 25-Sign Pack Right for My Site?
Pack A sits between a small starter bundle and one of our largest construction sign packs.
It can be a particularly good option if:
-
Five or ten signs won't provide enough coverage
-
You need signage in several areas
-
Your project has multiple access points
-
You want a broader stock of construction signs available
-
You regularly replace damaged or missing site signage
-
You're equipping a medium or larger project
If you're running a small refurbishment with only a few relevant requirements, a smaller pack may offer better value.
For a large project or contractor requiring an extensive stock of site signage, compare Pack A with our larger Construction Sign Packs.
Does Pack A Include Every Sign My Construction Site Needs?
Not necessarily.
There isn't one universal set of safety signs suitable for every construction site.
The appropriate signage depends on the project's hazards, activities, access arrangements, PPE requirements, traffic management, emergency arrangements and other site-specific factors.
Check the 25 signs included in Pack A against your project's risk assessments and safety arrangements.
You may need additional individual signs for hazards or requirements that aren't covered by the pack.
Add Specialist Construction Signs Where Needed
Pack A can be supplemented with additional signs for requirements such as:
-
PPE
-
Electrical hazards
-
Excavations
-
Asbestos
-
Confined spaces
-
Overhead cables
-
Vehicle movements
-
Fire safety
-
First aid
-
Assembly points
-
Access restrictions
This lets you use Pack A as a broad site signage bundle while adding specialist messages appropriate to the particular project.
Construction Sign Pack or Site Safety Board?
Pack A contains 25 separate signs, allowing safety messages to be positioned individually around the site.
A Site Safety Board combines several instructions and warnings on one larger panel, typically positioned at an entrance.
For many projects, the two products can work together:
Site entrance: Site Safety Board
Around the project: Individual signs from Pack A
Site fencing: Site Safety Banners where larger-format messages are required
This creates a more complete site signage system rather than relying on one board at the main entrance.
Review Signage as the Project Changes
Construction sites change continuously.
Access routes move, different trades arrive, hazards change and new work areas are created.
Review your site signage throughout the project and check that each sign is:
-
Still relevant
-
Clearly visible
-
In the correct location
-
Clean and legible
-
Securely installed
-
Not obscured by materials or equipment
Remove or reposition signs when the information no longer applies.

UK Health & Safety Regulations
The Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA) 1974 is a foundational law in the UK for workplace health and safety. It outlines the general duties of various parties to ensure a safe work environment. Here's a quick summary: Duty of Employers: Employers must provide a safe workplace, ensure the health, safety and welfare of their employees and anyone else on the premises (visitors, contractors etc.). This includes providing adequate training, information, and supervision. Employee Duties: Employees have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others around them. This includes following safety procedures and using equipment properly. Other Duties: The Act also places duties on those responsible for premises, manufacturers of equipment used at work, and the self-employed. Safety signage is one way employers can fulfill their duty to inform and instruct employees. Signs can warn of hazards, provide instructions for safe use of equipment, and delineate emergency exits. While HSWA outlines general principles, specific regulations and Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs) provide more detailed guidance on workplace health and safety practices. For up-to-date information, you can refer to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) website https://www.gov.uk/health-and-safety-executive.

Sign Materials Guide
Choosing the right material for your safety signs is crucial for ensuring their effectiveness and durability. We proudly manufacture all our signs in Britain. Let us guide you in selecting the most suitable material for your signs.
Self-adhesive stickers
Self-adhesive stickers are ideal for indoor usage. We use superior-quality Metamark digital vinyl, which is a durable and flexible material with an adhesive backing. Prior to applying the sticker, ensure that the surface is flat, smooth, and clean. While the vinyl is waterproof, we do not recommend outdoor usage unless the surface is deemed appropriate. It is important to note that vinyl stickers do not stick to wood, rendered, wood chip, brick or stone walls, concrete, or similar surfaces. In such cases, we suggest considering alternative materials such as recycled plastic or composite aluminium. Please be aware that Self-adhesive stickers, such as Dulux Easycare Matt Emulsion paint, will not adhere to newly formulated washable, "wipe clean" painted surfaces. If you have any uncertainties or inquiries, feel free to ask us. Additionally, we advise against attempting to independently apply Self-adhesive stickers larger than A4 size, as it may be more challenging than anticipated.
Recyclable Plastic
Introducing Polyline Bubble Board, the latest innovation in the sign industry, made from 100% recyclable polypropylene. Manufactured in the EU by Pyramid, this eco-friendly material offers an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, with a smooth, flute-free surface—unlike Correx.
The Bubble Board features a fire-retardant (FR) black core, making it an ideal choice for projects that require enhanced safety measures. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it is UV-treated for excellent weather resistance, and its scratch-resistant surface outperforms traditional Foamex. Fully recyclable through the No.5 waste stream, Bubble Board is a sustainable and reliable option for UK safety signage.
Rigid Plastic
Rigid Plastic Signs are commonly used for safety signs due to their durability and lightweight design. Our Plastic 1mm option is lightweight and durable, providing waterproof qualities. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Fixing holes can be drilled in the plastic at no additional cost.
We take pride in being the inaugural online sign manufacturer in the UK to present our complete product line of health and safety signs and general signage in 50% recycled plastic. Our new 3mm waterproof recycled plastic, which is bright white in colour, is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is more eco-friendly compared to traditional rigid plastic. It possesses the same surface qualities as rigid and foamed plastic but incorporates a lighter recycled foam PVC centre. Furthermore, this material is 100% recyclable and offers an exceptional printing surface for various signage applications. You have the option to drill fixing holes or use foam adhesive pads on the back for mounting the signs.
Aluminium Composite
Our Metal Signs, constructed from Aluminium Composite (Dibond Signs), are specifically crafted for outdoor usage. The aluminium composite consists of a non-aluminium core bonded between two thin sheets, resulting in a sturdy and weather-resistant sign. We utilize 3mm thick composite aluminium, sourced from ALUPANEL in Britain. This material is produced from at least 80% recycled materials and is completely recyclable. It can be easily drilled to install holes, and we provide pre-drilled holes upon request at no extra cost. Dibond signs are well-known for their durability and long lifespan, making them a fantastic option for outdoor signage.
Foamex
Foamed Plastic Signs, or Foamex, are a popular choice for temporary construction site safety boards. This material is durable yet lightweight, weatherproof, and specifically designed for outdoor signage. Our foamex is 3mm thick and has a white matte finish.
Correx
Fluted Polypropylene, also known as Correx, is designed for temporary signage, especially in the construction industry. It offers a cost-effective and lightweight solution for short-term signage needs.
Banners
Here are the details about our banner options:
Standard and Premium Banner Materials
We offer a standard 440gsm PVC Banner, which is lightweight, weather-resistant, flame-resistant, and has a gloss finish. It is suitable for indoor and short-term outdoor use.
- Our Premium 510gsm Extra-Strong PVC Banner is designed for higher tear resistance and durability. It is weather-resistant, suitable for indoor and long-term outdoor use, and meets UK and European fire safety standards. It has a satin finish.
Mesh Banner Material
- The 260gsm MESH Banner is perfect for windy areas, as its perforated design allows wind and some light to pass through, preventing ripping.
All our banners are printed with high-quality, eco-friendly UV inks. They are hemmed and eyelet for easy fixing, and cable ties are provided at no extra charge.

Frequently Asked Questions About Construction Site Signs
What are the required safety signs for a UK construction site?
Under Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM 2015), building sites must prominently display a mix of mandatory signs (e.g., "PPE Must Be Worn"), prohibition signs ("No Unauthorised Access"), hazard warnings ("Danger Construction Site"), and clear fire exit route markers. Our multi-message site safety boards combine all these necessary warnings onto a single layout.
Which sign material is best for temporary scaffolding and building sites?
For temporary construction environments, Fluted Polypropylene (Correx) and Foamed Plastic (Foamex) are highly recommended. Correx is incredibly lightweight, waterproof, and easily attached to scaffolding grids or fencing using cable ties. For longer-term development projects or hoarding displays, we suggest upgrading to rigid plastic or durable aluminium composite (dibond) panels.
Do you offer bulk trade pricing for large construction projects?
Yes, we specialise in supplying trade accounts and major contractors across the UK. The Safety Sheep Store offers bulk trade discounts of up to 35% on multi-packs and volume orders. All our building site signs are proudly manufactured in our Yorkshire facility, allowing us to pass direct factory savings straight to your project budget.
