Multi-Message Site Safety Signs 50 Pack F
Communicate several important site safety instructions in one place with our Multi-Message Site Safety Signs 50 Pack F.
This bulk pack contains 50 identical multi-message signs, each measuring 400 x 300 mm. Instead of installing several separate signs at every relevant location, the combined design brings key site safety information together on one easy-to-recognise panel.
Ideal for construction companies, housebuilders and contractors operating larger developments or multiple projects, this 50-pack makes it easier to use the same safety message consistently across entrances, work areas and different sites.
50 Matching Multi-Message Safety Signs
Pack F contains:
50 × identical Multi-Message Site Safety Signs
Size: 400 x 300 mm each
Every sign has the same multi-message design.
This isn't a mixed pack containing 50 different signs. It provides 50 copies of one combined site safety sign, allowing the same group of safety messages to be repeated wherever they apply.
Several Safety Messages on One Sign
Construction entrances can quickly become cluttered when several individual safety signs are mounted next to one another.
A multi-message sign provides a more compact alternative by bringing several relevant site instructions together on one panel.
This can make it particularly useful at locations where workers, contractors or visitors need to understand several requirements before proceeding.
Ideal for Construction Site Entrances
Site entrances are a natural location for multi-message safety signs because they're an important decision point.
Before entering, people may need to understand:
-
Site access restrictions
-
Mandatory PPE requirements
-
General construction hazards
-
Visitor procedures
-
Other important site instructions
Where the messages shown on Pack F apply, positioning the sign before entry allows this information to be communicated at a single point.
Useful Where You Have Multiple Entrances
Large developments don't always have one entrance.
There may be:
-
Main construction gates
-
Pedestrian entrances
-
Contractor entrances
-
Delivery access points
-
Separate development phases
-
Different buildings
-
Temporary entrances
-
Additional work zones
Where the same requirements apply at several access points, a 50-pack gives you matching multi-message signs ready for each relevant location.
Designed for Contractors Operating Multiple Sites
You don't need to install all 50 signs on one project.
Pack F is particularly useful for contractors who regularly need the same multi-message safety board across different developments.
The signs can be distributed between:
-
Construction sites
-
Refurbishment projects
-
Housing developments
-
Commercial developments
-
Civil engineering projects
-
Industrial projects
-
Maintenance sites
Unused signs can be held centrally and issued when new projects begin.
Standardise Your Site Entrance Signage
Using the same multi-message sign across several projects can help create a consistent approach to commonly used site safety information.
Rather than individual projects selecting different combinations and layouts, contractors can keep a stock of matching signs and distribute them where the messages apply.
This can make new-site set-up simpler while giving workers and regular contractors a familiar visual format from one project to another.
Reduce Sign Clutter
Where several safety instructions apply at the same point, installing a separate sign for every message can create unnecessary visual clutter.
A well-designed multi-message sign can bring related information together and make better use of available mounting space.
This can be particularly useful on:
-
Site gates
-
Temporary fencing
-
Hoardings
-
Pedestrian entrances
-
Site office approaches
-
Controlled access points
However, a multi-message sign shouldn't replace individual signs where a particular instruction or hazard needs to be communicated elsewhere on the site.
Multi-Message Signs & Individual Safety Signs
These signs perform different roles.
A Multi-Message Site Safety Sign is useful where several general requirements apply at the same location.
An individual safety sign is often more appropriate where one particular instruction or hazard needs to be highlighted at a specific work area.
For example, a multi-message sign could be displayed at the main site entrance while separate signs are positioned around the project for:
-
Deep excavations
-
Electrical hazards
-
Overhead cables
-
Confined spaces
-
Asbestos
-
Specialist PPE
-
Fire equipment
-
First-aid facilities
-
Traffic routes
For many projects, the most effective approach will involve both.
400 x 300 mm Multi-Message Signs
Each sign measures 400 x 300 mm, approximately 16 x 12 inches.
The compact format can be particularly useful where several safety messages need to be communicated but mounting space is limited.
When choosing where to install the sign, consider:
-
Viewing distance
-
Mounting height
-
Direction of approach
-
Lighting
-
Other signs nearby
-
Fencing or hoarding layout
-
Whether the complete multi-message design can be clearly read
For locations requiring greater viewing distances, consider whether a larger Site Safety Board or Site Safety Banner would be more appropriate.
Choose Your Sign Material
Select the material according to the intended location, project duration and mounting method.
3mm Correx
A lightweight fluted polypropylene material particularly suited to temporary construction signage.
Its low weight makes Correx useful for temporary fencing and shorter-term site applications.
3mm Foamex
A lightweight but more rigid foamed plastic board commonly used for construction signage.
Foamex provides a firmer alternative where greater rigidity is preferred.
1mm Plastic
A thin, lightweight rigid plastic option with waterproof qualities, suitable for indoor and outdoor safety signage.
3mm Recycled Plastic
A rigid recycled plastic option suitable for indoor and outdoor safety signage.
This provides an alternative for businesses looking to incorporate recycled material into their signage purchasing.
Optional Fixing Holes
Choose your signs:
Without fixing holes
or
With four corner fixing holes
Pre-drilled holes can make installation easier where signs are being attached using suitable screws, cable ties or other appropriate fixings.
Choose the option that best suits your mounting surface.
Keep Replacement Signs in Stock
Site signs can become damaged, dirty, lost or removed during a construction project.
Temporary fencing may also move, entrances may change and additional work areas can open.
A 50-pack gives larger contractors the opportunity to keep replacement signs ready rather than ordering individual signs whenever another one is required.
Review the Messages Before Displaying the Sign
Because Pack F contains several messages on one sign, make sure all of the displayed instructions are appropriate to the location.
Don't use a multi-message sign simply because most of its messages apply.
If one of the mandatory instructions doesn't apply to that particular area, individual safety signs or a different multi-message design may provide clearer information.
The sign should accurately reflect the site's actual requirements.
Multi-Message Signs Don't Replace Site-Specific Signage
A general site entrance board can't communicate every hazard that may exist throughout a construction project.
Additional signage may still be required for site-specific risks and arrangements.
These could include:
-
Excavations
-
Electrical hazards
-
Moving vehicles
-
Overhead services
-
Underground services
-
Asbestos
-
Confined spaces
-
Fire escape routes
-
Fire equipment
-
First-aid locations
-
Specialist PPE requirements
Position these signs at the relevant locations rather than relying solely on the entrance sign.
Safety Signage Is Part of Wider Risk Management
Multi-message signs provide useful safety information, but signage doesn't replace appropriate measures for controlling construction risks.
Depending on the project, these can include:
-
Site security
-
Physical barriers
-
PPE
-
Traffic management
-
Training
-
Site induction
-
Supervision
-
Safe systems of work
-
Emergency arrangements
Choose signage according to the actual hazards, requirements and arrangements of the project.

UK Health & Safety Regulations
The Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA) 1974 is a foundational law in the UK for workplace health and safety. It outlines the general duties of various parties to ensure a safe work environment. Here's a quick summary: Duty of Employers: Employers must provide a safe workplace, ensure the health, safety and welfare of their employees and anyone else on the premises (visitors, contractors etc.). This includes providing adequate training, information, and supervision. Employee Duties: Employees have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others around them. This includes following safety procedures and using equipment properly. Other Duties: The Act also places duties on those responsible for premises, manufacturers of equipment used at work, and the self-employed. Safety signage is one way employers can fulfill their duty to inform and instruct employees. Signs can warn of hazards, provide instructions for safe use of equipment, and delineate emergency exits. While HSWA outlines general principles, specific regulations and Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs) provide more detailed guidance on workplace health and safety practices. For up-to-date information, you can refer to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) website https://www.gov.uk/health-and-safety-executive.

Sign Materials Guide
Choosing the right material for your safety signs is crucial for ensuring their effectiveness and durability. We proudly manufacture all our signs in Britain. Let us guide you in selecting the most suitable material for your signs.
Self-adhesive stickers
Self-adhesive stickers are ideal for indoor usage. We use superior-quality Metamark digital vinyl, which is a durable and flexible material with an adhesive backing. Prior to applying the sticker, ensure that the surface is flat, smooth, and clean. While the vinyl is waterproof, we do not recommend outdoor usage unless the surface is deemed appropriate. It is important to note that vinyl stickers do not stick to wood, rendered, wood chip, brick or stone walls, concrete, or similar surfaces. In such cases, we suggest considering alternative materials such as recycled plastic or composite aluminium. Please be aware that Self-adhesive stickers, such as Dulux Easycare Matt Emulsion paint, will not adhere to newly formulated washable, "wipe clean" painted surfaces. If you have any uncertainties or inquiries, feel free to ask us. Additionally, we advise against attempting to independently apply Self-adhesive stickers larger than A4 size, as it may be more challenging than anticipated.
Recyclable Plastic
Introducing Polyline Bubble Board, the latest innovation in the sign industry, made from 100% recyclable polypropylene. Manufactured in the EU by Pyramid, this eco-friendly material offers an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, with a smooth, flute-free surface—unlike Correx.
The Bubble Board features a fire-retardant (FR) black core, making it an ideal choice for projects that require enhanced safety measures. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it is UV-treated for excellent weather resistance, and its scratch-resistant surface outperforms traditional Foamex. Fully recyclable through the No.5 waste stream, Bubble Board is a sustainable and reliable option for UK safety signage.
Rigid Plastic
Rigid Plastic Signs are commonly used for safety signs due to their durability and lightweight design. Our Plastic 1mm option is lightweight and durable, providing waterproof qualities. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Fixing holes can be drilled in the plastic at no additional cost.
We take pride in being the inaugural online sign manufacturer in the UK to present our complete product line of health and safety signs and general signage in 50% recycled plastic. Our new 3mm waterproof recycled plastic, which is bright white in colour, is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is more eco-friendly compared to traditional rigid plastic. It possesses the same surface qualities as rigid and foamed plastic but incorporates a lighter recycled foam PVC centre. Furthermore, this material is 100% recyclable and offers an exceptional printing surface for various signage applications. You have the option to drill fixing holes or use foam adhesive pads on the back for mounting the signs.
Aluminium Composite
Our Metal Signs, constructed from Aluminium Composite (Dibond Signs), are specifically crafted for outdoor usage. The aluminium composite consists of a non-aluminium core bonded between two thin sheets, resulting in a sturdy and weather-resistant sign. We utilize 3mm thick composite aluminium, sourced from ALUPANEL in Britain. This material is produced from at least 80% recycled materials and is completely recyclable. It can be easily drilled to install holes, and we provide pre-drilled holes upon request at no extra cost. Dibond signs are well-known for their durability and long lifespan, making them a fantastic option for outdoor signage.
Foamex
Foamed Plastic Signs, or Foamex, are a popular choice for temporary construction site safety boards. This material is durable yet lightweight, weatherproof, and specifically designed for outdoor signage. Our foamex is 3mm thick and has a white matte finish.
Correx
Fluted Polypropylene, also known as Correx, is designed for temporary signage, especially in the construction industry. It offers a cost-effective and lightweight solution for short-term signage needs.
Banners
Here are the details about our banner options:
Standard and Premium Banner Materials
We offer a standard 440gsm PVC Banner, which is lightweight, weather-resistant, flame-resistant, and has a gloss finish. It is suitable for indoor and short-term outdoor use.
- Our Premium 510gsm Extra-Strong PVC Banner is designed for higher tear resistance and durability. It is weather-resistant, suitable for indoor and long-term outdoor use, and meets UK and European fire safety standards. It has a satin finish.
Mesh Banner Material
- The 260gsm MESH Banner is perfect for windy areas, as its perforated design allows wind and some light to pass through, preventing ripping.
All our banners are printed with high-quality, eco-friendly UV inks. They are hemmed and eyelet for easy fixing, and cable ties are provided at no extra charge.

Frequently Asked Questions About Construction Site Signs
What are the required safety signs for a UK construction site?
Under Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM 2015), building sites must prominently display a mix of mandatory signs (e.g., "PPE Must Be Worn"), prohibition signs ("No Unauthorised Access"), hazard warnings ("Danger Construction Site"), and clear fire exit route markers. Our multi-message site safety boards combine all these necessary warnings onto a single layout.
Which sign material is best for temporary scaffolding and building sites?
For temporary construction environments, Fluted Polypropylene (Correx) and Foamed Plastic (Foamex) are highly recommended. Correx is incredibly lightweight, waterproof, and easily attached to scaffolding grids or fencing using cable ties. For longer-term development projects or hoarding displays, we suggest upgrading to rigid plastic or durable aluminium composite (dibond) panels.
Do you offer bulk trade pricing for large construction projects?
Yes, we specialise in supplying trade accounts and major contractors across the UK. The Safety Sheep Store offers bulk trade discounts of up to 35% on multi-packs and volume orders. All our building site signs are proudly manufactured in our Yorkshire facility, allowing us to pass direct factory savings straight to your project budget.
