Site Safety Signs 50 Pack E
Keep frequently used safety signage ready for your next project with our Site Safety Signs 50 Pack E.
Containing 50 copies of the same Site Safety Sign, this bulk pack is designed for construction companies, contractors and multi-site organisations that regularly use the same safety message.
Each sign measures 400 x 300 mm, giving you a practical stock of matching signage that can be distributed around a large project, divided between several sites or held in reserve for new work areas and replacements.
50 Identical Site Safety Signs
Pack E contains:
50 × matching Site Safety Signs
Size: 400 x 300 mm each
Every sign carries the same safety message and design.
This isn't a mixed construction sign pack. It is intended for organisations that need one particular safety message in quantity.
Built for Bulk Site Signage Requirements
If your business regularly orders the same construction sign, buying in larger quantities can simplify site set-up and ongoing sign replacement.
Rather than ordering a handful of signs every time another project begins, Pack E gives you 50 matching signs ready to allocate as required.
Use them on one large project, distribute them between several sites or retain part of the pack as stock.
Ideal for Contractors Operating Multiple Sites
Construction companies often repeat the same safety requirements from one project to another.
A bulk supply of matching signs can be particularly useful for:
-
Main contractors
-
Housebuilders
-
Building contractors
-
Property developers
-
Civil engineering companies
-
Refurbishment contractors
-
Facilities management teams
-
Industrial businesses
-
Maintenance contractors
-
Multi-site organisations
Where the Pack E message applies, signs can be issued to individual projects as they're required.
Standardise Your Site Signage
Using the same sign design across different projects can help create more consistent safety communication.
Instead of different sites purchasing different versions of the same message, a central supply of matching signs can be distributed across the business.
This can be particularly useful for contractors looking to standardise frequently used signage across:
-
Site entrances
-
Pedestrian gates
-
Work areas
-
Perimeter fencing
-
Hoardings
-
Temporary access points
-
Separate buildings
-
Different phases of a development
Only display signs where the particular message is relevant to the location.
Keep Replacement Signs Ready
Construction sites are demanding environments and signs don't always remain in their original condition for the entire project.
Signs may become:
-
Damaged
-
Dirty
-
Lost
-
Removed
-
Obscured
-
Relocated
-
Unsuitable after site arrangements change
Keeping spare Pack E signs in stock means replacements are available when required.
For contractors operating continuously, this can be more convenient than placing another order each time an individual sign needs replacing.
Useful as Projects Develop
Construction sites change considerably between the beginning and end of a project.
New entrances can open, temporary fencing can move, additional work areas can become active and different contractors can arrive on site.
A 50-pack provides flexibility to introduce the same safety message at additional locations as the project develops.
Regularly review your signage and check that each sign remains relevant, clearly visible and in good condition.
400 x 300 mm Site Safety Signs
Each Pack E sign measures 400 x 300 mm, approximately 16 x 12 inches.
When choosing where to position the signs, consider:
-
Viewing distance
-
Direction of approach
-
Mounting height
-
Lighting conditions
-
Surrounding obstructions
-
Other signage nearby
-
Whether people approach on foot or in vehicles
The sign should be clearly visible from the point where its information is needed.
Choose Your Material
Pack E is available in four material options, allowing you to choose according to the site, expected period of use and mounting requirements.
3mm Correx
A lightweight fluted polypropylene board well suited to temporary construction signage.
Its low weight makes Correx particularly useful for temporary fencing and other short-term site applications.
3mm Foamex
A lightweight but rigid foamed plastic board frequently used for construction site signage.
Foamex provides a firmer alternative where greater rigidity is preferred.
1mm Plastic
A thin, lightweight rigid plastic material with waterproof qualities, suitable for indoor and outdoor safety signage.
It is a useful option where a durable sign is required without the thickness of a board material.
3mm Recycled Plastic
A rigid recycled plastic option suitable for indoor and outdoor safety signage.
This provides an alternative for businesses looking to incorporate recycled materials into their signage purchasing.
With or Without Fixing Holes
Choose your 50 signs:
Without fixing holes
or
With four corner holes
Pre-drilled holes can simplify installation where the signs will be attached using suitable screws, cable ties or other appropriate fixings.
Select the option according to the surface and fixing method you intend to use.
One Large Site or Several Smaller Projects?
You don't have to use all 50 signs in the same location.
Large Construction Project
Use the signs at multiple relevant entrances, access points, work areas or other locations where the same message applies.
Multiple Construction Sites
Divide the pack between several projects to provide consistent signage across your business.
Contractor Stock
Keep the signs centrally and issue them to sites as required.
Replacement Stock
Retain spare signs so damaged or missing signage can be replaced quickly.
This flexibility is one of the main reasons a 50-pack can make sense for businesses that use the same safety message regularly.
Don't Install Signs Simply Because You Have Them
Buying 50 signs doesn't mean all 50 should automatically be displayed.
Only install a sign where its message is relevant.
Too much unnecessary signage can compete for attention and make important safety information less clear.
The aim should always be to display the right message in the right location.
Safety Signs Are One Part of Site Safety
Safety signs help communicate warnings, instructions and other important information, but signage doesn't replace appropriate risk controls.
Depending on the project, wider arrangements may include:
-
Site security
-
Physical barriers
-
PPE
-
Traffic management
-
Training and instruction
-
Supervision
-
Safe systems of work
-
Emergency arrangements
Select signage according to the hazards, activities and safety arrangements of the individual site.

UK Health & Safety Regulations
The Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA) 1974 is a foundational law in the UK for workplace health and safety. It outlines the general duties of various parties to ensure a safe work environment. Here's a quick summary: Duty of Employers: Employers must provide a safe workplace, ensure the health, safety and welfare of their employees and anyone else on the premises (visitors, contractors etc.). This includes providing adequate training, information, and supervision. Employee Duties: Employees have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others around them. This includes following safety procedures and using equipment properly. Other Duties: The Act also places duties on those responsible for premises, manufacturers of equipment used at work, and the self-employed. Safety signage is one way employers can fulfill their duty to inform and instruct employees. Signs can warn of hazards, provide instructions for safe use of equipment, and delineate emergency exits. While HSWA outlines general principles, specific regulations and Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs) provide more detailed guidance on workplace health and safety practices. For up-to-date information, you can refer to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) website https://www.gov.uk/health-and-safety-executive.

Sign Materials Guide
Choosing the right material for your safety signs is crucial for ensuring their effectiveness and durability. We proudly manufacture all our signs in Britain. Let us guide you in selecting the most suitable material for your signs.
Self-adhesive stickers
Self-adhesive stickers are ideal for indoor usage. We use superior-quality Metamark digital vinyl, which is a durable and flexible material with an adhesive backing. Prior to applying the sticker, ensure that the surface is flat, smooth, and clean. While the vinyl is waterproof, we do not recommend outdoor usage unless the surface is deemed appropriate. It is important to note that vinyl stickers do not stick to wood, rendered, wood chip, brick or stone walls, concrete, or similar surfaces. In such cases, we suggest considering alternative materials such as recycled plastic or composite aluminium. Please be aware that Self-adhesive stickers, such as Dulux Easycare Matt Emulsion paint, will not adhere to newly formulated washable, "wipe clean" painted surfaces. If you have any uncertainties or inquiries, feel free to ask us. Additionally, we advise against attempting to independently apply Self-adhesive stickers larger than A4 size, as it may be more challenging than anticipated.
Recyclable Plastic
Introducing Polyline Bubble Board, the latest innovation in the sign industry, made from 100% recyclable polypropylene. Manufactured in the EU by Pyramid, this eco-friendly material offers an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, with a smooth, flute-free surface—unlike Correx.
The Bubble Board features a fire-retardant (FR) black core, making it an ideal choice for projects that require enhanced safety measures. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it is UV-treated for excellent weather resistance, and its scratch-resistant surface outperforms traditional Foamex. Fully recyclable through the No.5 waste stream, Bubble Board is a sustainable and reliable option for UK safety signage.
Rigid Plastic
Rigid Plastic Signs are commonly used for safety signs due to their durability and lightweight design. Our Plastic 1mm option is lightweight and durable, providing waterproof qualities. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Fixing holes can be drilled in the plastic at no additional cost.
We take pride in being the inaugural online sign manufacturer in the UK to present our complete product line of health and safety signs and general signage in 50% recycled plastic. Our new 3mm waterproof recycled plastic, which is bright white in colour, is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is more eco-friendly compared to traditional rigid plastic. It possesses the same surface qualities as rigid and foamed plastic but incorporates a lighter recycled foam PVC centre. Furthermore, this material is 100% recyclable and offers an exceptional printing surface for various signage applications. You have the option to drill fixing holes or use foam adhesive pads on the back for mounting the signs.
Aluminium Composite
Our Metal Signs, constructed from Aluminium Composite (Dibond Signs), are specifically crafted for outdoor usage. The aluminium composite consists of a non-aluminium core bonded between two thin sheets, resulting in a sturdy and weather-resistant sign. We utilize 3mm thick composite aluminium, sourced from ALUPANEL in Britain. This material is produced from at least 80% recycled materials and is completely recyclable. It can be easily drilled to install holes, and we provide pre-drilled holes upon request at no extra cost. Dibond signs are well-known for their durability and long lifespan, making them a fantastic option for outdoor signage.
Foamex
Foamed Plastic Signs, or Foamex, are a popular choice for temporary construction site safety boards. This material is durable yet lightweight, weatherproof, and specifically designed for outdoor signage. Our foamex is 3mm thick and has a white matte finish.
Correx
Fluted Polypropylene, also known as Correx, is designed for temporary signage, especially in the construction industry. It offers a cost-effective and lightweight solution for short-term signage needs.
Banners
Here are the details about our banner options:
Standard and Premium Banner Materials
We offer a standard 440gsm PVC Banner, which is lightweight, weather-resistant, flame-resistant, and has a gloss finish. It is suitable for indoor and short-term outdoor use.
- Our Premium 510gsm Extra-Strong PVC Banner is designed for higher tear resistance and durability. It is weather-resistant, suitable for indoor and long-term outdoor use, and meets UK and European fire safety standards. It has a satin finish.
Mesh Banner Material
- The 260gsm MESH Banner is perfect for windy areas, as its perforated design allows wind and some light to pass through, preventing ripping.
All our banners are printed with high-quality, eco-friendly UV inks. They are hemmed and eyelet for easy fixing, and cable ties are provided at no extra charge.

Frequently Asked Questions About Construction Site Signs
What are the required safety signs for a UK construction site?
Under Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM 2015), building sites must prominently display a mix of mandatory signs (e.g., "PPE Must Be Worn"), prohibition signs ("No Unauthorised Access"), hazard warnings ("Danger Construction Site"), and clear fire exit route markers. Our multi-message site safety boards combine all these necessary warnings onto a single layout.
Which sign material is best for temporary scaffolding and building sites?
For temporary construction environments, Fluted Polypropylene (Correx) and Foamed Plastic (Foamex) are highly recommended. Correx is incredibly lightweight, waterproof, and easily attached to scaffolding grids or fencing using cable ties. For longer-term development projects or hoarding displays, we suggest upgrading to rigid plastic or durable aluminium composite (dibond) panels.
Do you offer bulk trade pricing for large construction projects?
Yes, we specialise in supplying trade accounts and major contractors across the UK. The Safety Sheep Store offers bulk trade discounts of up to 35% on multi-packs and volume orders.
