1. Using Outdated or Non-Compliant Symbols
UK workplaces must use signs that conform to BS EN ISO 7010 — the international standard for safety sign symbols. If your signage still uses old icons or non-standard graphics, you may be in breach of the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996.
